End Of Year Sweepstakes 2024 Terms & Conditions

Official Rules

THE SLICE END-OF-YEAR SWEEPSTAKES (THE “SWEEPSTAKES”) IS OFFERED FOR U.S. RESIDENTS OVER THE AGE OF 18 BY SLICE ENGINEERING INC. (“SPONSOR”). NO PURCHASE OR ONLINE ENTRY NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

Eligibility:

The Sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents over the age of 18, excluding residents of Rhode Island, employees and members of their households, whether or not related, and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses regardless of where they reside) of Sponsor. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

Sweepstakes Period:

The Sweepstakes entry process runs from December 3, 2024 at 12:01am ET, through December 20, 2024 at 11:59pm ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

How to Enter: There are three methods of entry:

  1. Sign up to Receive Emails from Sponsor. You will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes when you sign up to receive emails from Sponsor on one of Sponsor’s Sweepstakes Popup Forms on Sponsor’s website. You will receive a confirmation email once your entry is received. Only one email entry per email address is allowed.
  1. Make a Purchase from Sponsor’s Website. You will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes when you make a qualified purchase from Sponsor’s website at sliceengineering.com. One entry per purchase. Between Sponsor’s 12 Days of Christmas Sale which runs from December 9, 2024 at 12:01am ET, through December 20, 2024 at 11:59pm ET, each purchase will count for two entries.
  1. Submit an Entry Form by mail, no-purchase-or-participation-necessary. Print your name, complete address, phone number (including area code) and date of birth along with “Slice End-of-Year Sweepstakes” either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches, and mail the postcard or paper in an envelope with the proper postage (each an “Entry Form”) to the address indicated below. Limit one (1) Entry Form per stamped envelope.

You may submit multiple entries, by taking more actions. For example, if you sign up to receive emails and make a qualifying purchase, each action will be a separate entry. You may submit more than one Entry Form.

Any efforts to circumvent these Official Rules may result in disqualification in the sole discretion of Sponsor.

Instructions to Enter:

Method 1: Sign up to Receive Emails

During the Sweepstakes Period:

  1. Access Sponsor’s website at sliceengineering.com.
  2. Sign up to receive emails from Sponsor through Sponsor's Sweepstakes Popups

Method 2: Submit an Online Order with Sponsor

  1. During the Sweepstakes Period, follow these instructions:
  2. Access Sponsor’s website at sliceengineering.com and shop the products offered by Sponsor.
  3. Place an order for a product or products from Sponsor.

Method 3: Enter Sweepstakes by Mailing an Entry Form, no-purchase-or-participation-necessary

  1. Print your name, complete address, phone number (including area code) and date of birth along with “Slice End-of-Year Sweepstakes” either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches, and mail the postcard or paper in an envelope with the proper postage (each an “Entry Form”).
  2. Mail your Entry Form to:

  1. Limit one (1) Entry Form per stamped envelope. You may submit multiple Entry Forms.
  2. All Entry Forms must be received before the end of the Sweepstakes Period, so please allow sufficient time for the Entry Form to be received by the Sponsor.

Late, Lost, or Incorrect Entries:

Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, or misdirected submissions, which are void.

Selection of Winner:

One entry, selected at random by Sponsor, will be, pending confirmation of the eligibility of the entrant, the winner. Sponsor’s decisions regarding the Sweepstakes and related matters are final and may not be appealed.

The winner will be notified using the contact information provided by the participant on or about January 6, 2025. The winner must comply with and assent to all Sweepstakes rules as published and confirm eligibility. In the event that the winner submitted invalid contact information or does not respond to Sponsor’s communication within seven (7) days, the winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected at random under these same Sweepstakes Rules.

Prize:

One winner will win the Grand Prize, consisting of a Bambu Lab X1C 3D Printer Combo & a Mako™ Hotend, valued at approximately $1,500. The Grand Prize will be issued only upon verification of the identity of the winner and verification of the winner’s eligibility to win and compliance with these rules.

Chances of winning will depend on the total number of entries received. 

All taxes on prizes are the winners’ responsibility:

All awards are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Any substitution of prizes will be of an equal or greater value. Awards consist only of those items specifically listed as part of the prize–any items, costs, or expenses not specifically listed as part of the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are winner’s responsibility. The winner will be issued a 1099 tax form by Sponsor.

License:

By accepting a prize, each winner hereby consents to the use by Sponsor and its designees of such winner’s name, photograph, likeness, biography, and voice for advertising and promotional purposes, in any and all media (including online announcements) now or hereafter known, throughout the universe in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law.

General Rules:

  1. By entering or participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
  2. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for electronic hardware, programming, or software malfunctions, or failures, or line connections, accessibility or availability, or technical failures of any kind, or unauthorized human intervention, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of any entry or other information, or for the failure to capture any such information. Sponsor is not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Sweepstakes entrants, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.
  3. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes, and select the winner for the Sweepstakes from the entries received prior to the action taken or in other such manner as deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.
  4. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently or with false information.
  5. Each winner of prize, by receipt of the prize, hereby waives and releases, and agrees to hold harmless the Sponsor, Sweepstakes administrators, all promotions and advertising agencies, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, or damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize in the Sweepstakes, or their participation in the Sweepstakes, or their participation in any Sweepstakes or prize related activity, or any travel related to the Sweepstakes or any travel for any prize-related activity.
  6. Participants acknowledge that Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, Sweepstakes administrators, and promotions and advertising agencies have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law relative to any prize or the Sweepstakes including but not limited to quality, condition or fitness for a particular purpose. All prizes are provided “AS IS”.
  7. Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Florida, without respect to any conflict of law issues, individually and without resort to any form of class action. Entrant agrees that such shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Alachua County, Florida, in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. If any part or parts of these rules, including but not limited to the forgoing arbitration provision, are found under the law to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such specific part or parts shall be of no force and effect and shall to the least extent possible to preserve the remainder, be severed and the remainder shall continue in full force and effect. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS PROMOTION. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY'S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, IDENTIFIABLE PERSONS, OR THIRD-PARTY PARTICIPANTS, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
