The Slice Engineering Raise 3D Pro2 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is conducted by Slice Engineering, LLC (“Sponsor”), a limited liability company whose primary offices are located at 747 SW 2nd Ave Suite 296, IMB 36, Gainesville, FL 32601.
ENTRY PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Pacific Standard Time ("PST") on November 13, 2023, and ends at 11:59 PM PST on December 17, 2023 ("Sweepstakes Period"). The official clock for the Sweepstakes is the Sponsor's computer. The Sweepstakes is subject to these official rules (the "Official Rules"), and by entering, Entrant (as defined below) agrees to be bound by them.
ELIGIBILITY
Void where prohibited by law. This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (Rhode Island excluded), age 18 or older, who are at least the legal age of majority in the state in which they reside but in any event no less than 18 years of age ("Entrant"). Employees, partners, resellers, and affiliates of Slice Engineering, LLC and their respective parent companies and subsidiaries ("Sweepstakes Entities"), as well as members of such employees, partners, resellers, and affiliates’ immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) or households (whether or not related), are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The winner shall be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (the "Affidavit/Release") as a condition for the delivery of the applicable prize.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Sweepstakes, you can participate through the following methods:
Purchase Entries: Every order placed on the official Slice Engineering, LLC website (www.sliceengineering.com) during the “Slice Engineering Season of Sales Event” (November 20 to December 17, 2023) is one entry into the giveaway. During week four of the sales event, which runs from December 11 to December 17, two entries are granted for every order placed. Please note that only orders made directly through www.sliceengineering.com are eligible for admission.
SMS List Entry (Free Method): The SMS list entry option opens on November 13, 2023, and ends on December 17, 2023. Obtain one entry into the giveaway by joining Slice Engineering, LLC’s SMS list option when you text the word "GIVEAWAY23" to the number “+1 (888) 291-7347” from your mobile phone. You will receive a confirmation message once your entry is received. Message and data rates may apply. Only one SMS entry per phone number is allowed.
Mail-In Entry (Free Method): The mail-in entry option opens on November 13, 2023, and ends on December 17, 2023. Only one mail-in entry per person is allowed. To obtain an entry without making a purchase, legibly handprint your name, email address, and complete address on a standard 4” x 6” postcard (with no outer envelope) and mail to:

Mail-in entries must be received by Sponsor by December 17, 2023, to be counted in the giveaway. Please note that while there is no maximum limit on the number of total entries, all entries must comply with these terms and conditions. This addition emphasizes that multiple entries are allowed if they adhere to the rules.
PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING
There will be one (1) winner in the Sweepstakes.
PRIZE
One (1) Raise3D Pro2 Plus 3D Printer (used, good condition), equipped with the “Raise3D Pro2 Upgrade Kit by Slice Engineering” (approximate retail value of the preowned machine: $3,669.00 and the upgrade kit: $239.99) with a total approximate retail value of the prize offered: $3,908.99.
The total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the prize is $3,908.99.
The prize is non-transferable. All prizes will be awarded if the number of eligible entries received equals or exceeds the number of prizes. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
RANDOM DRAWING
On or about December 18, 2023, a random drawing will occur from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided or collected with their submission and declared the official Sweepstakes winner after claiming their prize.
One (1) prize will be awarded based on the order of random selection as follows:
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Each potential winner will be notified at the email address and/or telephone number (as determined by the Sponsor) provided at the time of entry (the “Prize Notification”). If any potential winner does not respond to the Prize Notification within 24 hours of the date of issuance, a disqualification will result, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate potential winner will be selected in the same manner.
The potential winner must complete, sign, and return within five (5) business days a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release, or the potential winner will forfeit any claim to the Prize.
Sponsor shall announce the winner on its website following the winner's completion and signing of the affidavit. Sponsor shall have no liability for any Prize Notification lost, intercepted, or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible or has not complied with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified, and an alternate potential winner may be selected.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, late, lost, damaged, stolen, non-delivered, or postage-due entries, however caused, and assumes no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction.
Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Sweepstakes or otherwise attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other Entrants, Sponsor, or the Released Parties, as solely determined by the Sponsor, may be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify this Sweepstakes, in its entirety or in part, for any reason, including if tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper play of the Sweepstakes.
Entries by any method other than those set forth above are void. There is no limit to the number of entries one person or household may submit, regardless of the method of entry. Proof of entry, regardless of the method of entry, is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by the Sponsor of an entry for this Sweepstakes.
If a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who submitted an entry cannot be resolved to the Sponsor's satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.
COMMUNICATIONS AND PRIVACY
Entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes consent to receive email, phone calls, and other communications from the Sponsor about this Sweepstakes and to include the winner's name in an announcement. Where lawful, the Sponsor may use the city of residence, likeness, biographical information, voice, and statements attributed to the winner (if true) for publication, advertising, and promotional purposes without further consideration.
GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of the Entrant or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law, rules, or provisions that would cause the application of any.
PRIZE CONDITIONS
Prizes will be awarded only if the potential winner fully complies with these Official Rules. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. All details and other restrictions of Prizes not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by the Sponsor at its sole discretion.
No cash alternative or substitution will be allowed, except the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute Prize(s) of comparable value if the Prize is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason. Each winner shall be solely responsible for any other fees, costs, or expenses associated with the Prize after delivery. Potential Winners are required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release.
LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
By entering the Sweepstakes or accepting the Prize, Entrant hereby releases, discharges, and covenants not to sue Slice Engineering, LLC, and any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, predecessors, successors in interest, assigns, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents, past and present, in any and all capacities (collectively, “Released Parties”), in respect of any and all claims, damages, charges, injuries, losses, proceedings, suits, actions (including, but not limited to, tort actions, product liability actions, wrongful death actions, warranty actions, breach of contract actions, privacy and defamation actions, misappropriation of likeness actions, loss of consortium claims, etc.), expenses and attorney fees (“Claims”) that Entrant or anyone on Entrant’s behalf (including, but not limited to, Entrant’s heirs, representatives, or next of kin) have or might have for any death, injury, damage, or claimed injury or damage, arising out of, involving, or relating to Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, any claim that the act or omission complained of was caused in whole or in part by the strict liability or negligence in any form of the Released Parties (including use of the Prize). Entrant further agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Released Parties in any action or proceeding from and against all claims, expenses, and attorney fees that Entrant or anyone on Entrant’s behalf (including, but not limited to, Entrant’s heirs, representatives, or next of kin) have or might have for any death, injury, damage, or claimed injury or damage, arising out of, involving, or relating to Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, use of the Prizes, or for Entrant’s failure to comply with the terms hereof. This agreement to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend applies even if the act or omission complained of was allegedly caused in whole or in part by the strict liability or negligence in any form of the Released Parties. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any damage to an Entrant’s or any other person’s computer system or wireless phone which is occasioned by participating in the Sweepstakes or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software, or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions, or network connections that are human or technical.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Released Parties are not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged, stolen, or postage-due submissions or Prize Notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible, or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone, or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties, or other errors of any kind or nature; or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the inability to capture any information. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be working in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. The Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated, or automated multiple entries will be accepted. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures, malfunctions, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play, and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein.
GENERAL LIABILITY RELEASE/FORCE MAJEURE
In the event that the Sponsor is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic or pandemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared), or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis (e.g., SARS), order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), then the Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes.
If the Sweepstakes is terminated before its designated end date, the Sponsor will (if possible) select winners in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each Entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Only the prize described in these Official Rules will be awarded.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT AND/OR THE APPROXIMATE VALUE OF ANY PRIZE.
Each Entrant expressly waives any similar provisions or statutes to the fullest extent allowed by the law of the State of Florida and other applicable laws. Entrants understand and acknowledge the potential scope of this waiver and the potential to exclude unknown claims.
